Moving update...

In keeping with our values of transparency and integrity we want to let you know exactly where we are with the 6th street location. This is an update to our first announcement.

The community is very important to us and is primary in our thoughts. Your support and kindness had carried us through. It has humbled and overwhelmed us with love.

Thank you for all your support.

Going forward, we are devastated to announce that we will not be able to continue to use the 6th street space due to processes beyond the control of Phil and myself, the community, or any of it’s members. It has become clear that the zoning issues are prohibitive to our use of the space. Our attorney is handling this ongoing investigation into the actions of the realtors involved as well as the owners of 363 6th street.

Our quest to find a space for the BDSM community in San Francisco is ongoing.

The Citadel ARMY and the Clubhouse of Justice MARCHES ONWARD!

The effort put forth by the community’s gifts of money and time has produced an incredible space we can sadly no longer use. All of the gifts and donations that you have given have been tracked. An audit of our records has been completed and we have taken appropriate action to ensure all funds have been be accounted for.

All remaining gifts and any future gifts will be used to build and create a new SF Citadel. We feel hopeful about continuing to use 1277 Mission St and are pursuing every avenue to make that a reality for the community while we search for a new Citadel home.

SF Citadel is a dual level 5,400 square foot facility, well equipped for a variety of uses, featuring:

Social area, with plush sofas and loves eats
Fully functioning kitchen
Two rest rooms
Multipurpose space for meeting, workshops & other small gatherings
Separate dining area

However, the SF Citadel is better known as the Bay area’s premiere Community Dungeon Play Space. The facility is equipped with St. Andrew’s Crosses, spanking benches, bondage tables, swings, spreader bars and beams for suspension bondage play, recovery space, futon mats, outlets for electrical play, cages and much, much more. It is home to some of the region’s sexiest, men & women and the centerpiece of the San Francisco BDSM Community. We host numerous public parties, special events, and classes highlighting a wide variety of kinks. Whether you’re a newcomer or a seasoned veteran, SF Citadel has something for everyone.

SF Citadel is located in the bustling South of Market (SoMa) District of San Francisco.
