Our next fundraising event is a Valentine's Dinner Suspension &
Service Showcase!
Sunday, February 12, 2012 · 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM
In a special event at the Citadel's new 6th St location, we welcome
you to watch some of the area's best suspension and bondage artists
perform while you enjoy a catered 3-course sit down dinner, prepared &
delivered with grace & passion by the community's star servers.
Nothing says romance on Valentine's Day like amazing food, hot rope
work, supporting your local dungeon, and beautiful suspended stunt
bottoms, right?
There will be both ambient and structured performances, with multiple
suspensions and bondage creations going on at once throughout this
three hour event. We welcome singles, couples, and other groupings at
this event!
Each ticket will include a sensation play gift bag assembled with
sadistic glee by pandalebear that is sure to enliven your dinner
experience.
Tickets are $40 when you buy online or $50 at that door. To buy tickets go to WePay:
 | Well, we did it. After months of a search we found our new location! The lease was signed tonight. We are very excited about this new building, which is slightly over 12,000 square feet, very accessible for folks with disabilities, within walking distance of public transportation, has its own limited parking lot! This place is amazing and it now belongs to our community!
Luckily, the building is empty right now and we will have access to the space as soon as the lease is signed. That means we are going to hit the ground running to build out and decorate the new space!!
This is where the real work starts and with that comes a fundraiser to help the new space get a great start. Because of the current market for space, both rent and the cost of moving is quite a bit higher than our old lease. The cost just to move into our new digs was $24k, just including security deposit and two months of advance rent! We had three wonderful folks step up to the plate and loan us the money to be able to sign the lease right away so that we could continue with SF Citadel and the work we've been doing for the past 8 years, we need to pay back these folks.
Within the next few days you'll see announcements from the "Wonderland Fundraising Team", who helped raise donations for our current home for much needed improvements. Now once again we need more help to pay back the loan and perhaps with some extra funds so that we can purchase materials to make this new SF Citadel even better, such as painting/carpeting, build at least one wall, and more lighting to give the new SF Citadel that special feeling we've had for the past 8 years.b
If you can't help with funds, there will still be plenty of opportunities for you to join the team to build out your new home!! We are going to do the work in teams, and we are going to be contacting team leaders soon to get our plans lined up. Pretty soon you'll be seeing announcements from these team leaders to come and help. When you're on a team this is the person you need to speak to in regards to what your talents are and how you would like to help. Remember, all help is good help!
Phil and I are excited, energized, and just a little bit scared about this opportunity to re-create the feel of the SF Citadel yet again! We are looking forward to building a new place to learn, socialize with like minded friends, play and to be a community family, and we look forward to having all of you join us on this next phase of the SF Citadel Family Journey!
Lets get this party started !
